The Story of The Loop T-shirt

Designed by local artist Weedie Barnard and printed in the downtown Wilmington silkscreen studio run by Weedie and her husband Bob, our Loop t-shirts have been wildly popular for over 6 years! We now have matching cups that use the same design as the shirts. The front of the shirt shows the north side of the Loop along Salisbury Street. The back drawing is of the Causeway Side of the Loop.

  Loop t-shirts available in short and long sleeve, v-neck, crew neck, adult and children sizes in a rainbow of colors!

 Books – The museum has books on local history: the Civil War, Lumina pavilion, hurricanes, Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington World War II Liberty ships.

We have cookbooks from several local civic organizations and some on Southern cooking.

 We have a variety of children’s books on marsh life, sea turtles, seashells, coastal wildlife, and pirates – from board books to those for  young adults.

We have a selection of work by local artists of local settings and subjects. Take home a piece of Wrightsville Beach!
