These free programs occur monthly at the museum and are made possible through the generosity of Sandy and Kathy Griffin. Each program is 45 minutes long. We read a book or tell a story, have an activity, and then a light snack. Most children who attend are 4-9 years old, but we welcome all children to the program. All programs are help at the museum at Myers Cottage.
2017 dates and themes:
- September 20, You Saw What Animal at the Beach?! – 3 PM Wrightsville Beach Park Ranger, Shannon Slocum will be at the museum to talk about all the unexpected animals that show up at the beach: coyotes, deer, raccoons, opossums, and MORE!!
- October 11, Beach Trolley – 3 PM
- November 8, Thanksgiving Feast– 3 PM
- December 13, Not a Creature was Stirring…– 3 PM
